Zip Me Jacket is an oversized cardigan from the design tool, but hacked with a zipper.
The cardigan is knitted from the top down. It is first knitted as a sweater, before you use a sewing machine to insert the zipper.
The pattern includes detailed descriptions and pictures for mounting the zipper, and we also have instruction videos for each step which you can find here.

The cardigan is knitted with 15-25 cm positive ease, depending on the size. If you wish to achieve a more oversized look, you can go up a size. If you are in between sizes, we recommend choosing the largest one. The sweater in the picture is knitted in size M (bust measurement 95 cm).

Recommended needle size
Circular needles in 4.0 mm 80 cm for the body and 40 cm for the sleeves. Note that the ribbing is worked with the same needle size as the sweater.

Colorways
The brown cardigan is knitted using one strand Filcolana Arwetta held together with one strand Filcolana Tilia, both in the colorway Caramel. The grey cardigan is knitted using one strand of Sandnes Sunday held together with one strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair, both in the colorway Pearl Grey. A zipper can be found at most sewing stores.
