Construction

The sweater is worked from the top down, and you can adjust the length of the body and sleeves. The sweater is seamless.

You cast on the back piece and work this back and forth in stockinette stitch with stripes, before you pick up and knit each shoulder. The shoulders are knitted separately with short rows and increases to shape the neckline opening. Then the shoulders are joined for the front piece. Afterwards, the front- and back piece is joined and the body is knitted in the round. The slit is worked back and forth. The sleeves are worked by picking up and knitting stitches around the armholes. The neckline ribbing is worked by picking up and knitting stitches.
