Twist It Sweater is an oversized aran sweater. Tha cable pattern is simple to get the hang of after a few repetitions, and is worked only with knit and purl stitches.
Construction
The sweater is worked from the top down, and it is easy to adjust the length of the body and sleeves to fit your body. The sweater is seamless.
You cast on the back piece and work this back and forth, before you pick up and knit stitches for each shoulder. The shoulders are knitted separately with increases to shape the neckline opening. Then the shoulders are joined for the front piece. Afterwards, the front- and back piece is joined and the body is worked in the round. The sleeves are worked by picking up and knitting stitches around the armholes. The neckline ribbing and opening is worked by picking up and knitting stitches.
