More information
Go-To Sweater is an oversized sweater from the design tool, hacked with a longer body and slits on both sides.
Construction
The sweater is worked from the top down, and it is easy to adjust the length of the body and sleeves to fit your body. The sweater is seamless.
You cast on the back piece and work this back and forth in stockinette stitch, before you pick up and knit stitches for each shoulder. The shoulders are knitted separately with short rows and increases to shape the v-neck. Then the shoulders are joined with the back piece, and the rest of the neckline is shaped. Afterwards, the sweater is joined and the body is knitted in the round. The slits are worked back and forth in ribbing. The sleeves are worked by picking up and knitting stitches around the armholes.
